Bao Bao Issey Miyake

Women's Accessories

Coming Soon for Spring/Summer 2024

Conceptualised as the idea of ‘shapes made by chance,’ Bao Bao Issey Miyake produces geometric bags that have tessellated patterns and flexible structures. The line was introduced in 2000 by Issey Miyake who named it after the Spanish city of Bilbao, which had recently become the residence of the remarkable Guggenheim Museum – architect Frank Gehry was a huge inspiration on the late designer. With the goal of emulating the essence of the iconic building, each piece is ingeniously crafted by bonding triangle panels onto a mesh base that adjusts seamlessly as it accommodates your belongings. Elevate everyday looks with the Japanese label’s Lucent bag, Oval tote or Wring bucket bag.
