Celebrated for her creative approach to piercings, Manhattan-based designer Maria Tash has become synonymous with artfully stacked earrings. The native New Yorker opened her first studio in the East Village in 1993, drawing inspiration from the 1970s rock ‘n’ roll scene when sketching early collections of her fine jewellery. An affinity for diamonds means these sparkling gems feature heavily throughout the label’s designs – often held in the Tash’s signature invisible settings to create a mesmerising floating effect.
