Edward Green

Edward Green became an apprentice shoemaker at the age of 12, before establishing his namesake label in 1890. Over a century later, it’s based in the same Northampton workshop with 60 skilled artisans crafting each shoe from hand-cut French and Italian leather with antiqued patinas and soles which are oak-bark tanned for nine months to achieve optimum comfort and durability. The label is coveted for its reliable Goodyear-welted footwear – signature silhouettes include the cap-toe Oxfords and Newmarket Chelsea boots.
