Ann Demeulemeester
Ann Demeulemeester launched her label in 1985, quickly garnering critical approval and a cult following that resonated with her raw, deconstructed style. Brussels-born but raised and educated in Paris, Ludovic de Saint Sernin was appointed as the label's creative director in December 2022 and maintains the founder's DNA by reinterpreting archival pieces as a poetic homage. De Saint Sernin continues a play on the tension between masculine and feminine through crisp shirting, razor-sharp tailoring, and fluid, bias-cut skirts and dresses. Fans of the young designer will recognise his signature hedonism through daring sheer mesh and seductive leather pieces.
