Our technology department ensures MATCHESFASHION is at the forefront of fashion technology. They enjoy challenging themselves to do things differently, ensuring they deliver the very best in tech throughout the business.

The e-commerce and performance marketing department drives the global visibility and profitable growth of the business, while ensuring that shopping with MATCHESFASHION is an effortless and enjoyable experience. Through email marketing or SEO, the department aims to cover the full online journey of our customers, from acquisition and conversion to retention.
The department manages many projects at once, so strong time-management and prioritisation skills are a must.
The merchandising department monitors sales and stock online and in store to ensure the best possible performance of each piece. Ensuring that each product is in the right place at the right time, from arrival in our distribution centre until it arrives with a customer, the team maximises sales and gross margins through analysis, planning and forecasting, reporting its findings to other teams.
The merchandising team looks for organised and methodical candidates with advanced planning and analytical skills.
This department creates content for all channels – digital, print, email, audio and video. The team is responsible for the creative assets behind every department’s projects, from brand and communications to e-commerce and retail.
The creative agency also produces MATCHESFASHION’s weekly online magazines across womenswear and menswear.
The department’s aim is to inspire the customer with dynamic, innovative and engaging content on every channel.
The team is broad and recruits for varied roles, including fashion editors, stylists, video editors, writers, sub-editors, translators, production coordinators and designers.
The buying team selects the pieces the business will be offering each season, by taking fashion credibility and commercial viability into account. They manage relationships with brands, set the tone for the season and communicate the buys and deliveries to the wider team. The more senior members of the team travel extensively for appointments with each of our 400+ brands.
The photo studio creates all content that populates each product page, such as imagery, video and product descriptions. There are seven teams within the studio: stock, styling, photography, retouch, tech, copy and production, each working towards creating inspirational and accurate content efficiently and quickly, to improve customer satisfaction.
The press and events team is responsible for communicating MATCHESFASHION’s key messages globally, in the right place, at the right time and to the right audience.
The team connects MATCHESFASHION to the world via direct messages across all editorial media. This includes fashion editorial shoots, product placements, quotes from spokespeople, news pieces about the company, designer launches and exclusive collaborations, as well as events to amplify these initiatives.
When recruiting for roles in the press and events team, we look for team players with an understanding of the fashion media landscape and great communication skills.
The retail team ensures the smooth running of MATCHESFASHION’s six London stores, helping to project the brand’s luxury image and maintain the standard the company is known for. The team manages all stores, stock control, team management, client relations and customer loyalty.
Looking after priority customers and UK and international stylists, our team of private shoppers work closely with clients to build trusted relationships. They host one-to-one appointments, curating pieces that cater to each client’s unique requirements.
Our personal shoppers need to be proactive, confident and tech-literate sales people who can anticipate and respond to the demands of clients rapidly.
The e-shop department consists of the customer care team and MyStylist team, our complimentary shopping concierge. The customer care team attends to all customers’ queries including delivery, size and fit, and how to place an order.
Our customer care advisors speak more than 12 languages and are available 24/7 via telephone, email and live chat. Similarly, the MyStylist team is available around the clock to provide style advice to all customers, from instant wardrobe updates to ideas on how to put a look together.
Each e-shop advisor must work well under pressure and have perfect written and spoken English.
MyStylist assistants in particular need luxury retail or fashion industry experience, be sales driven and have a deep knowledge of fashion. Having a second language is a huge advantage.
Raey is exclusive to MATCHESFASHION and the label runs independently, benefiting from the supportive framework provided by the company, and has one retail store.
The team is responsible for everything related to the label including sourcing fabrics, designing, merchandising, buying, producing garments and more.

The people team is responsible for supporting the company’s greatest assets: its people. Looking after the company’s financial performance and assets, the finance team oversees all funds in and out of the business, from paying suppliers, to planning monthly and annual budgets. As MATCHESFASHION continues to expand globally, the finance team is also charged with strategic planning and consulting local experts as we enter new territories.
The logistics department manages the movement of all goods in the business. This includes inbound deliveries by over 400 suppliers to the distribution centre, orders to over 170 countries, and all goods throughout the business.
Due to the huge amount of items we receive and send each day, our logistics team keeps growing. We look for candidates with strong organisational skills, the ability to think quickly and the creativity to come up with ways to improve our processes and structures.
