Giles Deacon hails from Cumbria, a county in the northwest of England and a place he returns to to feel at peace, and moved to London to study at Central Saint Martins. He graduated in 1992 with a successful collection that was followed by terms at Bottega Veneta, Emanuel Ungaro and Gucci, launching his own label in 2004. His eponymous homeware line is both an expression of his sophisticated and irreverent point of view, as well as his passion for experimentation – he admits to spending weekends at home developing ideas for decoration objects and furniture, some of which feature in this curation. Expect fine embroidery and intricate illustrations.
