Charo Ruiz

Starting her career as a model in the 1970s, Seville-born Charo Ruiz founded her eponymous label in 1989 out of a love of design inspired by her dressmaker mother and grandmother. Natural fabrics, bold florals and lace embroidery define the label’s aesthetic, evoking the vibrant culture and rich heritage of its native home, Ibiza – where the collection is designed. The label is now run by Ruiz’s daughter and son, Paloma and Pablo, who merge the designer’s free-spirited DNA with contemporary colour palettes and prints. Expect versatile beachwear in the form of crocheted maxi dresses, lightweight kaftans and shirred two-pieces.
