Alison Lou Chemla launched her eponymous fine jewellery line in 2012, after honing her expertise at House of Waris and Finn Jewelry. With a background in art history, the native New Yorker’s designs explore enduring tropes with a modern eye – making notable references to 1960s graphics, retro Lucite designs and the playful language of emoticons. Skilled handcraftsmanship using 14kt gold, glossy enamel and a selection of ethically sourced and lab-grown stones produces a colourful range that can be combined and stacked together for a whimsical feel.
