East London’s Stepney Workers Club was established in 2018 when Simon See and Roger Pereira discovered a gap in the market for timeless, vulcanised footwear after coming across an impeccably crafted vintage trainer. Inspired by silhouettes worn by locals in the original Stepney Workers Sports Club, an anti-fascist, anti-war sports group, it’s dedicated to producing genderless trainers that exude the label’s mantra of ‘freedom of sport, freedom of thought’. Expect classic silhouettes updated with graphic prints and unexpected corduroy.
