Pronounced A-D, Aeyde designs shoes with a modern, independent and fiercely stylish woman in mind – a woman the label lovingly calls the ‘aeydelady.’ The Berlin-based brand is named after founder Luisa Dames’ grandmother Edith, who gave the designer her first sewing machine at the age of 12, beginning her journey into fashion. Inspired by the Bauhaus’ belief in elegance through functionality, the shoes are expertly hand-cobbled from leather in family-owned factories in Tuscany. Choose the Darya ballet flats or the Leandra boots to take you through the day, switching to the dainty Catrina slingback pumps or the patent Uma Mary Janes for the evening.
