The North Face

Aptly named after ‘the coldest, most unforgiving side of a mountain’, The North Face was founded in 1966 by outdoor enthusiast Doug Tompkins as a climbing specialist store in San Francisco. Since then, the label has offered pioneering garments and equipment to pro-athletes and amateur explorers alike, consistently pushing boundaries and innovating with new technologies and fabrics such as GORE-TEX®, HyVent®, PRIMALOFT® and many more.
