OUR LEGACY adds a sensitive slant to utilitarian and preppy pieces, in a re-rendering of classic garments that the Swedish label calls ‘messing with masculinity’. The brand was founded in 2005 by childhood friends and former graphic designers Jockum Hallin and Christopher Nying, who were joined shortly after by CEO Richardos Klarén to create clothes imbued with a sense of inter-generational transcendence. Pared-back wardrobe staples are inspired by themes as varied as 1990s pop culture, Californian skaters and Hardcore music – all references to the founders’ own youth – and designed to be worn over and over regardless of season and trend. Each item is produced thoughtfully, with left-over and archival stock being transformed into relaxed blazers, textured knitwear and tailored trousers.
