The North Face X Undercover

San Francisco-based outwear label The North Face collaborates with contemporary Japanese brand Undercover, combining a utilitarian practicality with an avant-garde edgy aesthetic. Signature padded jackets and other iconic hiking gear from the American climbing specialists are rendered through designer Jun Takahashi’s conceptual lens, incorporating unexpected cuts, experimental materials and contrasting colours that blur the lines between conventional binaries. Expect bold updates on popular silhouettes, including the Nuptse 700 down quilted coat, reconstructed with off-kilter elements.
