Thierry Lasry

Born in Paris to an optician father and designer mother, Thierry Lasry launched his eponymous eyewear label in 2006. The French label’s sculptural styles display a passion for geometric shapes and bold colours informed by Japanese cartoons, Lego and 1980s fashion shows. Expertly handcrafted using acetate from the reputable Italian manufacturer Mazzucchelli 1849, the range of ‘futuristic vintage’ sunglasses and elegant opticals is playfully named with titles including Flexxxy, Victimy and Zomby – the Y at the end of each style name references the letter found in both the designer’s first and last name.
