With stints at Dior, Givenchy and Marc Jacobs under his belt, Alexandre Mattiussi launched the label in 2011, choosing the playful name as a nod to his initials and the French word for friend. You’ll find the signature Ami de Cœur monogram – a symbol that Mattiussi uses to sign his letters and calls to mind playing card graphics – on everything from ready-to-wear staples to practical accessories.
