Selim Mouzannar
A descendent of a 19th century Middle Eastern jewelling dynasty, Franco-Lebanese designer Selim Mouzannar established his eponymous label in 1993 after graduating from Paris’s Institut National de Gemmologie and training in Antwerp’s Diamond district. Mouzannar’s work is characterised by the elegant grace of Ottoman Empire aesthetics – the complexities of art and architecture in particular – realised with geometric framework, unique stone pairings and the storied Beirut Rose motif. Expect a regal selection of earrings, necklaces and cocktail rings cast from 18kt gold with hints of enamel, then finished with diamonds, morganite and aquamarine.
